At the age of 83, the Spanish actor, comedian, singer and clown Emilio Aragon, popularly known as Miliki, died in Madrid.
For several days, the children’s icon was hospitalized as a result of pneumonia. His family confirmed his death, stating their sadness for whom, even the Spanish prime minister, Mariano Rajoy, called “a symbol of how, through the art of entertaining and making several generations laugh, he taught how to be better citizens.”
“He leaves this world surrounded by the love of many children who have grown up singing, laughing and enjoying with him.”
Miliki was born into a family linked to the circus world, with two of his brothers formed the trio Gaby, Fofó and Miliki, most remembered after conducting The Big Circus program for the Spanish television and also for emblematic songs as “La gallina turuleca”, “Hola DonPepito,” among others.
