Ministry of Housing allocates $ 200 million for social housing loans

The Ministry of Housing has launched an initiative aimed at extending social housing through loans of up to $ 30,000. The Minister Diego Aulestia met with representatives of credit unions to show them the proposal.

Aulestia explained that for the housing project there is a budget of 200 million dollars for this year. The amount includes the budget for housing voucher and other plans.

David Merino, representative of the Credit Union 29 de Octubre, said that the proposal is attractive. Of course, he said, it is necessary that the deadlines and interest rates are revised.
