According to the website of the Senatel, Ecuadorian mobile operators must apply quality parameters updated by the National Council of Telecommunications (Conatel for its Spanish acronym), since July of this year.
Every parameters will have a form of measurement. To establish the level of customer satisfaction in terms of quality, every three months the mobile operators must subscribe to a pollster, which measure its coverage, the customer service, and clarity about costs.
In terms of the percentage of claims, it is measured through the healthcare system of the operator, as well as average time to resolution of claims.
The Superintendency of telecommunications and the Senatel shall establish formats of reporting of information that must be forwarded by the operators.
