More than 1.300 arrested in dangerous sector

93% of the catched people in two districts of Guayaquil are for 919 flagrant crimes and they have fallen in New Prosperina

From every five people who are detained in two districts of Guayaquil, considered dangerous by the high rate of violent deaths, four are caught for flagrant crimes.

That is what the numbers that were given during the accountability reflected in the south and north of the city, places that have more than 500.000 habitants.

Between June 1, 2015 and May 24 of this year , police have executed in these areas a total of 20.834 ordinary, extraordinary and special operations. Product of these actions, 1.366 people have been arrested for being allegedly immersed in criminal acts recorded within 24 hours (flagrant) (I).
