More than 1,000 Exporters may Apply for Tax Credit

Posted On 19 Jul 2011

The Tax credit certificates by the Ministry of Production extended to exporters, as compensation for non-renewal of the Andean trade preferences (ATPDEA) delivered by the United States, became effective yesterday, from 16:00.

Through these certificates, the Ecuadorian Government will recognize up to 80% of the amount paid in fees. An estimated of about 1,300 companies were covered with the ATPDEA; they may apply now to this credit.

To access this benefit, interested parties must complete a form either on the Ministry of Production or Internal Revenue Service website.
