More Victims Appear After Tornado in Joplin

Posted On 31 May 2011

Less than a dozen of people are still unaccounted after the tornado that struck at Joplin, Missouri last week. Missouri Department of Public Safety Deputy Director Andrea Spillars informed on Tuesday that 10 people are still missing and that two new names are added to the missing list.

It is still not known how many people died in the storm of May 22, but Spillars says that the relatives of the 120 identified corpses have been notified. Meanwhile several officials said that 146 sets of human remains were taken to a temporary morgue, however they did warned that the body parts could belong to a single person.
