New prosecutor takes the case of two Argentine girls that were killed in Montañita
Maria Coloma Pazmiño, the prosecution official representing the province of Guayas, was appointed yesterday to continue the investigation of the death of two Argentine tourists Marina Menegazzo and Maria Jose Coni, murdered on February 23rd in the Montañita commune.
In approximately twenty days leading the investigation of crimes, Coloma is the third prosecutor who takes the case of national and international crime investigation.
Eduardo Gallardo Rhodes was the first prosecutor to investigate the deaths, after the discovery and removal of the bodies of Coni and Menegazzo, 25 and 28 last, respectively this past February. (I)
