New sectional moves will divide the elections

Of the 109 political groups in the country, enabled by the National Electoral Council (CNE), for voting next year, 48 are new.
These groups are all local (there are 4 provinces, 37 cantons and 7 parishes) that will seek the release in the new campaign at the registered identity in the CNE, although not all its members are new to politics.
The founders of some groups aspire for the reelection in the process of the February 23, 2014. One such case is when the Council empowered three groups in the Salcedo Canton, Cotopaxi.
Salcedense en Accion is led by the current mayor, Rodrigo Mata, who held the office from 2009 to the municipal movement, allied to the regime of Rafael Correa in certain decisions.
In El Oro; movements: Santarroseno Unido Revolucionario, of the mayor of Santa Rosa, Clemente Bravo; Progresivo Independiente Pasaje, directed by Victor Guzman, candidate for mayor of that district.
Sucumbios, Azuay, Imbabura, Guayas, Pichincha and Loja registered new political movements, while Bolivar, Canar, Chimborazo, Napo and Santo Domingo did not register new organizations.
