Nicolas Maduro expelled 3 officials from the American Embassy

The Venezuelan President, Nicolas Maduro, ordered the dismissal of three consular officials from the Embassy of United States.

The announcement was made last Sunday, February 16, overnight after reporting that Roy Chaderton, the Ambassador of Venezuela to the Organization of American States (OAS), received a message from the Deputy Assistant of the Secretary for Latin America of the Department of State of United States, Edward Alex Lee.

According to Maduro, United States demanded his Government to dialogue with the opposition and the release of detainees after the acts of violence that left three people dead during last week.
