The United States president Barack Obama and his rival Mitt Romney proposed different approaches for the foreign politics. Obama (53%) against Romney (23%) won the verbal duel according to a poll made by CBS News, a 24% favored the tie.
The candidates accused each other with the inaccuracies through the course of the campaign and showed strong differences towards the issue of Iran and the friendship with Israel. The subject of the Middle East occupied most of the 90-minute debate.
