Paul McCartney marriages for the third time

Today the former Beatle, Paul McCartney, 69; married his fiancée Nancy Shevell in London on the day his late bandmate John Lennon would have turned 71 years. The couple had a relationship of four years, the Beatle legend married with her in London’s Westminster registry office at the Old Marylebon Town Hall, the same venue where Paul married his first wife, Linda.

Last Saturday the couple had received a blessing at a local synagogue as part of Shevell’s Jewish religion prior their civil service. During the wedding Shevell wore a flower in her hair and a white dress created by McCartney’s daughter and fashion designer Stella. Bandmate Ringo Starr also attended the ceremony.

The wedding reception was held at McCartney’s nearby home in St John’s Wood. McCartneys has been married twice before his first wife, Linda, died of cancer in 1998. In 2008 the star divorced Heather Mills, however her daughter Beatrice was Shevells bridesmaid, and Paul’s younger brother Mike was his best man. (AV)
