´Pavement Picasso´ Will Bring his Art to Guayaquil
Victorian ponds, gold mines and pools with women in bikinis in the middle of the street. Underground universes, monsters that fight to escape from the sidewalk, among others. Everything is part of the artwork of Julian Beever, who has graced the asphalt of a dozen countries. Beever will come to Ecuador for the city foundation festivities of July (July 11).
The ‘Pavement Picasso’, as commonly called, is a British artist that is dedicated to draw with chalk on the streets creating drawings in 3D, with a method called anamorphosis, which creates an optical illusion defying the laws of perspective.
Beever will work for five days in the public eye. It will be possible to appreciate the progress of the drawing called Bonding from which there still not yet information. The unveiling is tentatively scheduled on 17 July. (FO)
