Ecuadornews:
The public company Petroamazonas will issue bonds in the international market for $ 350 million as part of the payment plan agreed with the French company Schlumberger, whose total debt amounts to $ 850 million. Petroamazonas manager Alex Galárraga said Wednesday during a visit to Block 43, where the Ishpingo, Tambococha, and Tiputini fields are located, that the issuance will take place in November.
Galárraga said that the operation will be done with a similar scheme to the emission Petroamazonas made months ago for $ 671 million with the intervention of the City Bank. “Petroamazonas issues bonds through the City Bank, which delivers the money to Schlumberger,” explained Galárraga. (I)
