Between August and September of this year, Cervecería Nacional will export to Europe three containers of the traditional Ecuadorian beer Pilsener.
This is the first export that the company makes to the European continent. Initially it will arrive in Spain and will be distributed mainly in the cities of Madrid, Barcelona and the Valencian Community, with a view to expanding in Italy in the cities of Rome and Milan.
“In March of this year, an expansion plan for the brands of our company was started, we were able to design the network of distribution channels with the collaboration of ProEcuador and today it is a reality,” said Sergio Rincón, president of Cervecería Nacional.
As part of a first phase it is expected to export an average of a monthly container of this beer, while developing new projects. The Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment, Pablo Campana, who attended a tour of the plant and could observe the departure of the first container of the product, expressed his satisfaction with the news. “It is a joy to see that what has been sown is being harvested.”.
