Police officers outside the U.S. embassy in London arrested 20 suspects of being members of a banned group, another two were apprehended for obstruction and violent disorder.
Recently a Metropolitan Police spokesman did not confirmed that the protesters were members of the fringe Islamist group Muslims Against Crusades (MAC). MAC was banned by Home Secretary Theresa May on October for their protest in 2010 were they chanted “British soldiers, burn in hell.”
