With other names, other labels, but the same faces behind, that once or for several occasions were in the presidential ballot.

Carlos Sagñay de la Bastida, twice presidential candidate, is in the process of registration of his political movement ‘Venceremos.’ Businessman Alvaro Noboa is doing the same, the five times presidential candidate, is registering his party ‘Adelante Ecuatoriano Adelante.’ And before them, Marcelo Larrea, once a candidate for the presidency, expressed his interest of creating the `Democracia Si´ movement. Hector Cespedes, political consultant, said that public figures should not be qualified as ,”political dinosaurs,” despite their consistent presence in political life, can be considered by many as such. He cites as an example former Assemblyman Dalo Bucaram (president of the newly recognized party Fuerza Ecuador) and Noboa. It is not just a matter of faces,” he says.
