PRE denounces alleged rejection to its binomial
The alleged rejection of the presidential binomial from the Partido Roldosista Ecuatoriano (PRE), formed by the evangelical pastor Nelson Zavala, and alternate assemblywoman Dennys Cevallos, made by the National Electoral Council (CNE for its Spanish acronym), alarmed members of the group.
This was reported today by the Assemblyman Abdala Bucaram Pulley, who said his “CNE informers” supposedly told him that Domingo Paredes, president of the electoral body, ordered to prevent the approval of PRE’s combination.
According to Bucaram Pulley, there are no legal grounds to reject the new party pairing.
Zavala Meanwhile, with the possible rejection of his candidacy, said, “Today they do it to me, tomorrow they will do to anyone. Don’t wait until it happens to you.”
Pulley also revealed that tomorrow will file a lawsuit against the brothers Fernando Alvarado, communications secretary, and Vinicio Alvarado, Secretary of Public Administration, for “embezzlement due to the use of public funds to denigrate the image of Ecuadorians.” (MZ)
