President Juan Manuel Santos arrived in Ecuador

This morning the Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos arrived to Quito to meet the Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa.

After the formal greeting of the Armed Forces, Colombian President addressed the Nation in a brief statement. Santos added: “(…) I did not want to end the year without accepting the lovable invitation of President Rafael Correa” and mentioned that he came with a delegation of ministers and government officials to discuss all issues of bilateral agenda.

After the resumption of diplomatic ties between Colombia and Ecuador, both leaders addressed issues related to trade, social development, transport and others.
