Posted On 14 Sep 2018

Ecuadornews:

President Lenin Moreno visited the facilities of the textile factory La Esperanza, in the north of Quito.

During the visit, the Head of State highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship for the development of the country and the creation of decent jobs.

La Esperanza factory was created in 1998 and generates more than 150 direct jobs and more than 2,000 indirect jobs.

This enterprise has received credits from the National Financial Corporation (CFN) for more than $ 950,000 for the acquisition of machinery, supplies and working capital. “As a government, we are giving credit in a simple way to all those who want to start so they can move forward,” said the Chief Executive.

The tour of the textile plant is part of the communication initiative “Telling Stories”, which gathers testimonies from the protagonists that drive production. (I)
