Prosecutor Office takes New Measures to Bank Embezzlement

The Attorney General, Galo Chiriboga, pointed out that the investigation of the credit of 800 thousand dollars given without guarantees by COFIEC to the businessman Gaston Duzac now looking for a bank embezzlement.

Chiriboga stated that the investigation would conclude in a few days and assured that it will present the judges with all the elements of sentence that determine the guilty parties of the case. The three people more involved in COFIEC case, Antonio Bunay, Germanico Maya and Francisco Endara have already left the country.

The president of the Prosecutor Commission of the Assembly, Silvia Salgado, pointed out through Democracy radio, that she had suggested taking cautionary measures 15 days ago.

Chiriboga added that they will take measures that allow that all of the involved are present in the trial. AV
