Rafael Correa is summoned in the homicide investigation of Froilán Jiménez
In the investigation for the homicide of Corporal Froilán Jiménez, 29 people were called to render their version. Among those mentioned are former President Rafael Correa, former ministers Gustavo Jalk, Javier Ponce; Freddy Martinez, Colonel Edwin Tapia, Oscar Bonilla, for October 14.
The citation will be, as indicated in the file, to continue collecting elements within the previous investigation.
The versions will be received at the Special Prosecutor’s Office for Transparency and Fight against Corruption No. 3 of the State Attorney General’s Office, located at Juan León Mera Street No. 19-36 and Av. Patria.
On October 15, Rosana Alvarado, Fernando Alvarado, Galo Mora, Ricardo Patiño, Augusto Barrera, General Ernesto González were cited.
On October 17, Enrique Herrería, Irina Cabezas, Ramiro González, Fausto Flores, Christian Miño, César Carrión must attend. On October 18, Aland Molestina, Brig Barreiro, Jorge Peña, Patricio Andrade are cited.

Froilán Jiménez passed away on September 30, 2010 after a police revolt known as 30S.
