Rafael Correa speaks of adjustment to ‘high pensions’ of the Armed Forces

President Rafael Correa said yesterday during his weekly address, he will intend to make an adjustment to the pensions of the armed forces because, in his opinion, there is a gap between the low and high ranks.
He did while was defendeding his decision to relieve the military high command due to the conflict that arose from the price of the land the Institute of Social Security of the Armed Forces (ISSFA) sold the Ministry of Environment in 2010 to build the Samanes Park, in Guayaquil.
“Reagrding wages and pensions we have had the best paid police force in the region, perhaps in the world, especially senior officers,” he said.
