Real Madrid Foundation and UDLA Will Create a School in Ecuador

This morning, Real Madrid Foundation and the University of Americas (UDLA) signed a collaboration agreement for the creation of a sports school in the province of Pichincha. 60 children who suffer from cancer will attend this school, its activities will start on September 2011.
“Our dream is to bring the enthusiasm and passion for sports to every child in the world,” institutional relations director of Real Madrid, Emilio Butragueño, said. He attended the event with Carlos Larreategui, principal of UDLA, and Galo Chiriboga, Ecuador’s ambassador in Spain.
The UDLA destined some land adjacent to its headquarters in Quito for the project, with an initial investment of $ 100,000.
