Police in Monte Sinai eviction plan

The regime and the Municipality of Guayaquil continue throwing accusations about alleged replicas of uniformed assaults on citizens.

A week ago the confrontations began after images of an aggressive response by the municipal police team members against the group Guayaquil Sin Garrote when they were filming a parody of the mayor of Guayaquil, Jaime Nebot. So far there are five videos.

After ordering the media to refrain from broadcasting in contracted spaces a video of the City Hall, considering that contained edited images, the National Secretariat of Communication (SECOM) introduced a national chain to deny the participation of former governor of Guayas and candidate for Mayor for Alianza PAIS (AP), Viviana Bonilla, regarding the operational eviction from Mount Sinai.

In response, the City filed a new video yesterday, which maintains, “the terrible and unnecessary violence used by the government against the poor people,” adding that the video was stopped because it “relied on broadcast by national media images.”

The information was transmitted by the news channel of Teleamazonas, Canal Uno and RTS, of last May 10, in which the brutal military operation can be seen. At the end of the video says “We have proven once again that the lies and the truncheon come from the government.”

Bonilla criticized and questioned the video to the television network, Ecuavisa, for accepting to spread the City Hall video, being “familiar with such edition.” She added that there were citizens who became violent and the military had to force security.
