Relics of Sister Maria Troncatti will tour the country

Sucúa, Morona Santiago. Last Friday a large crowd attended a procession on the Sucúa-Logroño road, in honor of Sister Maria Troncatti.

Sucúa, Morona Santiago. Last Friday a large crowd attended a procession on the Sucúa-Logroño road, in honor of Sister Maria Troncatti.

On the occasion of the recent beatification of Sor Maria Troncatti, a tour will begin next month to show the relics of the saint.

Spokesmen of the Beatification event confirmed the tour and noted that this project is made to show the example of the religious Italian, who has made miracles like the one made to Josefa Yolanda Solorzano Pisco, who was about to die at the hands of a lethal malaria, but using prayers to the saint, inexplicably got cured.

The schedule for the tour of the relics is as follows:

  • Portoviejo – December 2
  • Manta – December 3
  • Guayaquil – December 10

  • Playas – January 7
  • Loja – January 14
  • Cariamanga – January 21
  • Cuenca – January 28
  • Sígsig – February 11
  • Riobamba – February 18
  • Guaranda – February 25
  • Simiatug – March 4
  • Quito – March 11
  • Julio Andrade – April 8
  • Morona Santiago – tour throughout the province until reaching Sucúa, from April 15 to August 24.
