Remnants of Hurricane “Katia” Hit the Island of Ireland and the UK

Rain and winds up to 130 km per hour, hit today the island of Ireland and the UK because of the arrival of the “tail” of the “Katia” hurricane, officials from both countries meteorologists.4,000 users of the hinterland and the west coast of Ireland are without electricity, and is expected to experience flooding some coastal areas due to a combination of strong winds and high tides.
In addition several ferry lines linking Ireland and Britain have beencanceled, but the planes are still operating normally.
The most affected areas will be Scotland, Northern Ireland and some of northern England and Wales, where were winds of up to 120 kilometers per hour are expected to arrive. Flood warnings for coastal areas of British North Sea in Yorkshire and Anglesea were also issued.
