Report speaks of certain ‘impacts’ on convicted
Alleged violations of human rights, psycho-emotional and socio-political impacts at individual, family and community levels in the cases of Luisa Lozano and Amable Angamarca, sentenced to four years in prison for the crime of obstruction of public service in the demonstrations held in the Saraguro county (Loja province) in August 2015, are part of the results of the Psycho-Social and Violations of Human Rights Report, of the Saraguro case.
About fifteen professionals from various fields (psychologists, lawyers, sociologists, doctors …) gathered in the Psychosocial Action Research Collective prepared the document, after analyzing the situation of both defendants.
Fernanda Solis, a member of the group, said that the aim of the report is to generate scientific and technical inputs that communities can use in their judicial and political defense processes.
