Risk country has not yet registered a downward though the payment of  bonds was done

Ecuador pays on time the Global 2015 bonds, whose principal amount plus interest for holders was approximately $ 682.5 million. It did it through the agent bank JP Morgan Chase. However, yesterday the market did not register a downward movement in the yields of the Ecuadorian papers that remain in force, these are the 2024 and 2020 bonds.

The government expects a drop in these returns, as it would be a sign of an improvement of the country risk perception in the markets, in order to perform new loans, as the economic authorities have announced.

Yesterday the country risk, according to the Central Bank, was 1,213 points to December 9, higher than that recorded last December 1 (1,190 points).

For the president of Analytica Securities, Ramiro Crespo, although there will probably be in the coming days a low in the country risk, this may not be as pronounced as one would like because of other factors such as the drop in oil prices.
