Ronaldo responds to Ferguson by calling him ‘fat’

Sir Alex Ferguson, the Manchester United coach, when he made reference to the Portuguese Star of the Real Madrid he said he is “more complete than the ‘fat’ Ronaldo”.

“Compare Cristiano Ronaldo with old Ronaldo, the Fat? A decade ago, Ronaldo was at his best. Cristiano Ronaldo is a supreme player. Never misses a match, he is physically strong, fast with the head and the feet.’ They are two different styles, but Cristiano Ronaldo is more complete”, said Ferguson.

Ferguson’s statements sound soon in Brazil, where the former Carioca striker is working  in the organization of the 2014 World Cup.

“He did not see me in ‘Medida Certa'” he said, laughing, Ronaldo, referring to the program when he lost 35 pounds last December.

Already getting serious, Ronaldo spoke of  the “disrespect” of the coach from Scotland.

“We respect his opinion, but don’t pretend to be the best for everyone. I’m happy with what I did in soccer, where I was the best in the world. I don’t have to talk of my old looks, but I regret the disrespectful way in which he referred to me” said former world champion striker.
