Sag Awards Winners 2012
The SAG Awards brought many surprises to the world of entertainment.
The award for best actor went on Jean Dujardin for his role in “The Artist”. Christopher Plummer won as best supporting actor on Beginner’s, while Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer won for their performances in “The Help”.
“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2” won the SAG for best cast of doubles, while the namesake for TV award went to Game of Thrones.
On the other hand, in television awards for comedy series Modern Family went to the Colombian star Sofia Vergara, a better cast. Alec Baldwin was chosen as best actor for 30 Rock, while Betty White for best actress for Hot in Cleveland.
The dramatic series winners were: Jessica Lange as best actress for American Horror Story. Steve Buscemi won best actor for Boardwalk Empire and the best cast.
Under the heading, Miniseries or Motion Picture Made for TV, Kate Winslet won best actress for Mildred Pierce and best actor for Paul Giamatti Too Big to Fail. Mary Tyler Moore received the SAG Award for lifetime achievement.
