“Schlumberger offers investments to Ecuador”

“New investments” had committed the oil company Schlumberger to Ecuador, after a meeting between Carlos Sarmiento, manager of the transnational company, and President Lenin Moreno, during his visit to the United States.

In a bulletin of the Secretariat of Communication, a paragraph is included that Sarmiento, manager of Schlumberger for Colombia, Ecuador and Peru, “reaffirmed his confidence in the country, and the commitment to generate new investments”.

Moreno concluded his trip to the United States on Friday, where he went to participate in the 73rd session of the General Assembly of the United Nations.

Today a meeting is planned, at 5:00 pm, between Moreno and the Emir of Qatar, Tamin bin Hamad al-Thani, at the Government Palace. (I)
