Sentence of Two And A Half Years for Byron Moreno

Brooklyn Federal Court in New York ruled this morning that former soccer referee and sports anchor Ecuadorian Byron Moreno, will have to serve a sentence of two and a half years in prison for the crime of drug trafficking.
Moreno remained a year in prison after pleading guilty on charges of drug trafficking when he arrived from Ecuador to the John F. Kennedy airport in New York on September 20, 2010, when he was found carrying 6 kilos of heroin attached to his underwear.
