Small cacao farmers take great strides to export

Taking firm steps and prepared by the advisers of Pro Ecuador, the small producers of cocoa, chocolate and coffee of the country took the business round “Aromas del Ecuador.” Buyers were delighted by the quality of products and their added value.

The event was attended by more than 75 national exporters and more than 30 international buyers from 13 countries: Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, the United States, France, Nicaragua, the Netherlands, Russia, UK, China, and Italy.

For the executive director of Pro Ecuador Roberto Intriago, the Aromas del Ecuador business conference is already positioned in the international market as a space where the best cocoa and coffee in Ecuador is offered, opening up new opportunities for small producers.
