South Pacific countries discuss exploitation of maritime resources

“Here is where mechanisms are established to regulate the fishery and the quotas on some traditional fishery resources, and future other depth fish species,” said Guillermo Moran, Deputy Minister of agriculture, aquaculture and fisheries of Ecuador (Magap for its Spanish acronym).
This session is intended to address the need to reach agreements within the framework of the Convention of the sea “Convemar”, besides the fishing of tuna in a comprehensive way among all countries, so that there is a responsible management so the resource is not depleted.
