Study reveals that 46% of students ensure that drugs are sold in schools
A study, involving organizations such as UNICEF, warns that teenagers have access to drugs in educational institutions in Ecuador.
For his part, Minister of Education Augusto Espinosa, questioned the data of this report and said that the government is working on an assessment to show official figures.
Drugs in the environment of the students is one of the subjects covered by the study entitled “Childhood and adolescence from intergenerationality 2016.”.
Several organizations participated in the preparation of this report, including Unicef. The document warns about access to drugs in schools.
One of its indicators shows that: 46% of the adolescent respondents confirmed that drugs are sold within the educational institutions. 44% answered no and 10% answered they do not know.
