Supporting character of The Simpsons will die this season

Al Jean, executive producer of the animated series The Simpsons, announced the death of one of the characters in the new season.

Although he wouldn’t say who, all clues point to Sideshow Bob, Patty, Selma, or Jaqueline, Marge’s mother.

“I’ll give you a clue that the actor playing the character won an Emmy for it, but I won’t say who it is,” Jean said.

Kelsey Grammer, who gives voice to Sideshow Bob, and Julie Kavner, who in addition to Marge Simpson, is also responsible for the voices of Patty, Selma and Jaqueline, top the list of artists who have won the Emmy.
