Syrian Regime Attacks Escape Route to Lebanon
So far 35 people perished in Syria on Tuesday as government forces fired at citizens across the country. The deaths include 23 people in opposition stronghold of Homs.
In Homs, the Syrian military forces targeted a bridge on the Orontes River near the Lebanese border used as a crossing path by the wounded. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, that as many as 2,000 Syrians have gone into Lebanon since Sunday.
Meanwhile refugees and dissidents are escaping into the northern city of Idlip in Syria after a threat of government shelling. The Syrian regime gave an ultimatum to the Free Syrian Army in Idlib, saying that the city would be shelled if the did not surrender.
Now citizens of the neighbour town of Binnish fear that they are going to be next due to demonstrations against president Bashar al-Assad. (AV)
