Syrian Regime Bombed the city of Homs

The army of the Syrian president, Bashar al-Assad has heavily bombed the city of Homs. According to the General Commission of the Syrian Revolution, 50 people died this morning.
A BBC spokesman informed that the attacks started in the morning, with mortars fired every 30 seconds or less. The rebels counter attacked with light weapons, completely useless against the regime forces. The opposition group added that the security forces are attacking neighbourhoods of Bab Amro, Al Bayada and Al Waer with heavy artillery.
Inside the city, the citizens are called to abandon their homes in high buildings. Bab Amro is now filled with military reinforcements of 50 armoured vehicles and other trucks in order to seize the sector. (AV)
