This year, the world’s most prominent gastronomic guide has recognized Ecuadorian dishes such as fritada, llapingacho and encebollado.
The Ecuadorian gastronomy is recognized again by the culinary guide Taste Atlas, which published its ranking of the best kitchens of 2023.
Ecuador is in 48th place on a list led by Italy, Japan and Greece< /span>. Of the Latin American countries, Mexico is the first to appear, in seventh place.
The Taste Atlas publication highlights that Ecuador has popular dishes such as encebollado, locro or llapingacho, and products such as cocoa, considered the best in the world.
This ranking is prepared based on ratings of dishes and food products made by Taste Atlas users.
“These kitchens have recorded the best average ratings for their respective 50 best-rated dishes and food products,” explains the gastronomic guide.
