Television managers did not attend to give their version on case Valdiviezo

Attorneys of Coello and Corral deliver their clients documents
Carlos Coello, manager of TC Television, and Sebastian Corral, Teleamazonas manager, did not attend the call of the prosecutor Victor Altamirano to give their free and voluntary version in the criminal proceeding carried out to clarify the murder of journalist Fausto Valdiviezo Moscoso.
Both managers had written the reason for his absence to the call, which was scheduled at 08h30 and 11h00. According to Julio Cesar Cueva, lawyer of the Valdiviezo family, the four page document that was presented does not have information useful to the investigation.
“The main excuse I think is the fact that it does not have the past seven bodies (folders) of the process. It’s logical they have all day to study their defence, so that hopefully they immediately prepare with their attorney and answer the questions we have for him,” said the lawyer.
To Cueva is “extremely important” that Coello attends the prosecution, as the mother’s version of Faust in the investigation links hims as a “suspect“.
However, in the writing of Coello indicates his relation to the investigation is “sketchy” and this has triggered a “media lynching” against him and the company where he works. It has also been asked that the journalist Jorge Rendon and the producer Alfredo Adum Wated give their testimony.
