Ten Best Rated in the Contest for Attorney General were Finally Defined

Last night the top ten list of the best rated candidates in the contest for the Attorney General’s Office was announced, after the Citizens’ Selection Comission (CCS) decided to consider a review of nine of the twelve requests on the merit rank given to eleven candidates.
The first place was awarded to Galo Chiriboga, Ecuador’s ambassador to Spain, who managed 86 points, followed by Antonio Gagliardo 84, Marco Antonio Maldonado with 83 points, 77 Bolivar Vergara, Julio Cesar Molina with 76.50, and Lenin Arroyo with 74 points. Among women the best rated were Gladys Terán with 83 points, with 77 Patlova War, Elsa Moreno 75, and Florinda Calderon with 54.25 points.
