The animals, protected by ordinance in Samborondón

With an event in which the honored ones were the pets, Samborondón broadcasted last Sunday the ordinance of Support for the Integral Protection of the Animals of Company, that establishes obligations, prohibitions and support to programs of protection, registration, census, rescue, between other benefits.
In one of the articles of the local regulations approved by the Council last week, it is noted that the Municipality of Samborondón will manage the support of institutions that are dedicated to animal protection or have a relationship with it, whether public or private.
Among the basic management instruments mentioned in the municipal ordinance are the companion animal census, the design and execution of the control and monitoring plan for street pets, among other aspects.
The presentation of the ordinance was given during the 4-legged Amigo event, which was held on Sunday at the Driving Range, located at km 6 of Samborondón Avenue.
The Municipality of Samborondón motivated the care of the animals there. The activity had no entry cost and there was pet identification. Tamara García enthusiastically waited with her pet Thor, an eight-month-old dog, to have her photo taken for the first identity card.
In Amigo de 4 patas there were also entrepreneurs who showed their products for animals and other types of items, picnic area, adoption of animals and pet play spaces.
The activity was welcomed by dozens of people, many with their young children, who arrived with pets of different races, some of them dressed in striking costumes and ornaments. (I)
