The Business Confidence improves in Ecuador
The index of Business Confidence published monthly by Deloitte consulting company , registered an increase in Ecuador, which in may stood at 99,1 points of 250, and this score represents the highest in the last two years.
Deloitte said that the confidence has increased following the visit of President Rafael Correa to Germany, Italy and Spain, and his interest to resume the trade negotiations with the European Union (EU).
Another important factor was the decision taken by Rafael Correa to create the Ministry of Foreign Trade, with which it is expected that exports will be promoted and materialize trade agreements with strategic countries.
The Foreign Ministry said that the Ministry will assume functions that until now were being handled by a Deputy Ministry.
