The plenary session of the Legislature will meet today at 11:00 to approve the General State Budget 2017, amid questions from opposition sectors that warn of a possible overestimation of the estimated income by financial authorities.
International financial institutions such as the China Development Bank (CDB) with $ 1,230 million; the Bank of China, $ 303 million; Eximbank, $ 415 million; and Eximbank Russia, Unicredit, JICA, Government of France (AFD) with $ 251 million stand out as the main creditors of the state budget.
As it can be seen, China remains as the leading external financier. Multilateral credit resources come from the Latin American Reserve Fund with $ 600 million; the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), $ 593 million; the Latin American Development Bank (CAF), $ 298 million); the World Bank, $ 121 million; and the Agricultural Development Fund (IFAD), $ 3.38 million.
