Today North Korea proclaimed the beginning of the Kim Jong Un era after describing the son of the deceased leader Kim Jong-iI as the “successor” of the nations revolutionary tasks “and leader of its people.”
North Korea’s official newspaper Rodong Sinmun pointed out that Kim Jong Un should move forward on a path of self-reliance, while maintaining the teachings of Kim Jong.
South Korean president Lee Myung-Bak informed this Thursday, December 22, that the transition in North Korea could be crucial for the relations between Seoul and Pyongyang. Lee also spoke about future discussions regarding their nuclear armament of both nations. (AV)
