The level of solar radiation is extremely high in Quito

The Metropolitan Secretariat of the Environment reports that around 11:30 yesterday, Quito presented levels of ultraviolet (UV) radiation of 12 points, which is considered extremely high.
During the morning of this Tuesday, the sky has had virtually no cloud, which causes the sun’s rays to fall directly on people. Given the levels of UV radiation like the current ones, the authorities recommend avoiding exposure to the elements. And in case it is necessary to leave, you should use sunscreen, in addition to sunshade, hat and sunglasses to protect from the sun. (I)
