Posted On 13 Jan 2016
The trend of restaurants is to raise lunch prices, the popular lunch now costs $ 3.25 and the executive lunch $ 5.75. Yet restaurants remain with ‘hunger’ as a result of the economic crisis. In a tour made by this media from downtown, the south and the north of the city, business owners indicated that sales dropped between 20% and 60%.
Although in downtown lunches for $ 2.50 can still be found, the National Institute of Statistics and Census (INEC) said in its latest report that the prices of food in restaurants and hotels until December 2015 rose a 0.21% and a 4.78% annual.
