Posted On 07 Nov 2014

aguiñaga-m-calThe Vice President of the Legislative, Marcela Aguinaga (AP), confirmed in her Twitter account the integration of the Casual Commission that will analyze the 16 amendments proposed to the Contitution by the Alianza País political party.

This Committee will be composed of 11 members, with government majority. Among these are: Marcela Aguiñaga, Rosana Alvarado, Juan Carlos Cassinnelli, Gabriel Rivera, Fausto Cayambe, Soledad Buendia and Rosa Muñoz. From other parties are included: Luis Fernando Torres (PSC), Patricio Donoso (CREO), Byron Pacheco (Avanza) and Veronica Arias (ARE).

Aguiñaga said that this structure was approved by the Council of Legislative Administration (CAL) and indicated that it “responds to the proportionality of the composition of the Assembly, where Alianza PAIS is the only party and accordingly to that of course, we  incorporated assemblymen from other parties.”

The commission is expected to be approved by the plenary of the Assembly in an upcoming meeting, “probably on Tuesday,” Aguiñaga said.
