State news agency “China Nueva” reported that the number of people killed by the influenza virus avian flu H7N9 increased in China, by two new deaths in Shanghai.
With these two new cases a total of 77 deaths are registered, after two weeks ago it was announced that the virus, that until then only affected birds, was also detected in humans.
Media reported on Sunday about the spread of the disease to Henan province, located in the center of the country, after its appearance in the city of Beijing.
The World Health Organization (WHO) said last week that there is “no indication” that the virus can be transmitted from one human being to another.
