The Oscar will pay tribute to the heroes of the film

Hollywood Academy announced Tuesday that 86 Edition of the Oscars will pay tribute to the heroes of the silver screen, theme which will be the context of the gala that will feature Ellen DeGeneres television icon, on March 2 at the theatre Dolby in Los Angeles (USA).UU).

The producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron said that during the broadcast will be held the legacy of the real heroes of the film, as well as popular heroes, animation and those born in the pages of comic books.

“The people of the world goes to the movies to be inspired by people who come on the screen. Celebrating the range of heroes who have enriched our cinematic experience we hope to create an evening of fun and joy”, commented the producers in a statement.

The Academy plans to also highlight the work of Directors and actors that take risk and stimulate the public with provocative themes and daring characters.

Between January 17 and March 5, the headquarters of the Academy in Beverly Hills will host in addition an exhibition of photographs and posters of 70 films made over the past nine decades.

This list includes heroes real as “Gandhi”, superheroes such as “Superman” and “The Dark Knight”, animated heroes such as “The Incredibles”, “Gladiator” as action heroes and literary heroes like “Grapes of Wrath”.
